Mobile Tech Expo/Travel Challenges

We had the pleasure of attending the Mobile Tech Expo in Orlando—an energizing and highly rewarding experience. The event provided invaluable opportunities to connect with industry leaders and fellow professionals whose expertise and insights will directly enhance the level of service we provide to our clients. The knowledge we gained will allow us to refine our processes, strengthen our offerings, and deliver an even more elevated customer experience moving forward. Beyond the professional growth, the trip offered meaningful personal benefits as well. It served as a refreshing reset and a welcome boost during the winter season.
Of course, the journey itself tested our resilience. Travel delays left us waiting nearly 12 hours at Charlotte Douglas International Airport before we were able to secure a flight to Tampa, where we rented a vehicle and completed the drive to Orlando. On our return, another cancellation prompted us to make the decision to drive 17 hours home to ensure we were back in time for work on Monday. Despite the challenges, we remained positive, adaptable, and focused—turning obstacles into yet another testament to our commitment and perseverance.
Window Tint Training

In January, we had the privilege of advancing our skill set through an intensive professional tint training program with Prolific Training Academy. This hands-on course was designed to strengthen both foundational techniques and advanced installation methods, providing a comprehensive, real-world learning experience.
Throughout the training, we completed extensive repetitions focused on proper glass preparation, precision film shrinking, and detailed installation across a variety of applications—including side windows, quarter windows, windshields, and rear glass. The emphasis on repetition and process refinement reinforced the discipline a
nd consistency required to deliver high-quality results. Each exercise sharpened our technical ability, improved efficiency, and deepened our understanding of the craftsmanship behind professional-grade tint installation.
Our instructor, Tyler, approached the training with transparency and professionalism, setting clear expectations from the outset. He emphasized that mastery in window tinting is not achieved in a matter of days, but rather through continued practice, patience, and commitment beyond the classroom. His straightforward guidance underscored the importance of ongoing repetition to retain knowledge, build muscle memory, and consistently produce exceptional work.
Overall, our experience with Prolific Training Academy was outstanding. The program not only strengthened our technical capabilities but also reinforced our commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
We are proud to announce that we are now offering professional window tint services, backed by formal training, hands-on experience, and a dedication to delivering superior results for our clients!
Special Thanks
I really wanted to slow down for a moment and express my sincere appreciation for Cody Brace of Keystone Detail (Interior and Exterior Detailing in Erie & Waterford, PA). Cody isn’t just someone in the same industry — he’s not even a competitor in my eyes — he’s a genuine friend. In a field where it’s easy to become territorial or guarded, Cody stands out in the best possible way. He truly believes there are more than enough vehicles out there for all of us to succeed, and he lives by that mindset every single day.
What sets Cody apart isn’t just his skill or his work ethic — it’s his willingness to give. He has generously shared his time, advice, and experience without hesitation. In an industry where people often hold their cards close, Cody openly supports other businesses and wants to see everyone win. I can honestly say I’ve never met someone who invests as much time and energy into helping others grow as Cody does. His encouragement, mentorship, and friendship mean more than I can put into words, and I’m incredibly blessed to know him.

I also want to take a moment to shout out Isaac Melnick and Marcus Haynes for being such genuinely solid guys and for making the entire MTE trip an absolute blast. From the moment we got together, their energy, humor, and positive attitudes made everything more enjoyable. It wasn’t just about the work — it was the conversations, the laughs, and the shared drive and passion that made the experience memorable.
What really stands out to me about Isaac and Marcus is their ambition. They’re not the type to settle or coast. They’re constantly pushing themselves to sharpen their skills, learn new techniques, and raise their standards. You can see how much pride they take in what they do and how committed they are to improving every single day. That dedication plays a huge role in helping Keystone Detail deliver the ultimate experience for their customers. It’s inspiring to be around people who are hungry to grow and who truly care about the quality of their work. I’m grateful for the time spent together and even more grateful to call them friends.

Last but certainly not least, I want to give a heartfelt thank you to another local detailer and one of my closest friends, Evan Knox of Knox Detail (knox-auto.com). Evan isn’t just someone in the same industry — he’s someone I truly value and trust. Over time, our friendship has grown far beyond business, and I can honestly say he’s one of the best friends I’ve ever had.
Evan is the kind of person who constantly challenges me to aim higher and become better, not just as a business owner but as a person. He pushes me to think bigger, work harder, and stay focused on the long-term vision. There’s
never any jealousy or competition between us — only mutual respect and a shared drive to succeed. We’re always collaborating, sharing ideas, and finding ways to grow both of our businesses together. I’m incredibly grateful for his friendship, his support, and the legacies we’re building side by side.
